A Bewitching Brew For Chilly Nights

It's almost certain that Halloween will be cold here in Alaska. I don’t know about you, but after taking the little monsters around the neighborhood so they can scare up enough candy to keep dentists in business all year, I’m ready to get home and warm up. I won’t lie, I have been known to raid my children’s candy stash after they go to bed, but this year Ive decided to take the high road and fix myself an adult treat that is sure to satisfy my sweet tooth. I thought I’d share it with you in case you needed to be fortified after being chased by zombies or swarmed by vampires.

The treat I speak of is called a Hot Caramel Toddy. I discovered this drink on the Fireball Whisky website at www.fireballwhisky.com. They have tons of yummy libations for your ghoulish events. This is my all-time favorite, but be warned, it’s a seasonal drink due to the Fulton’s Pumpkin Pie Crème Liqueur, which is only distributed between September thru November.

Hold onto your sweet tooth for this one.

NHot Caramel Toddy
·     ¾ shot Fireball Whisky

·     ½ ounce Fulton’s Pumpkin Pie Crème  Liqueur

·     ¼ ounce Caramel Spice Liqueur (This was difficult to find so I opted for Bailey’s with a hint of caramel.)

Pour into a mug and top with hot water. Add whipped cream and sprinkle cinnamon and a drizzle of caramel sauce over the top. You can also garnish with a cinnamon stick if you want to impress your zombie friends.

Enjoy and Happy Halloween from Boooooooooone!

You are a wicked witch-that sounds yummy, if I'm in the neighborhood I'll stop and have one with you.
